STLF's Core Values

STLF has four core values, all based on actions that cultivate a strong, sustainable organization able to best serve the world.  Here are STLF’s definitions:

• Trust – to believe that people will carry out STLF work to the best of their ability; to believe that the tasks will be completed and the program will be effective; to believe that it can happen; to believe that one person can change lives; to believe that we are all leaders.
• Initiative – to take action; to go against the norm; to respond to a need; to turn an idea into a reality; to follow a dream.
• Passion – to discover personal purpose; to live life with excitement; to do what the heart desires; to listen from within.
• Support – to believe in the individual; to accept; to guide when needed; to allow for ownership, success, and mistakes; to let things happen.
