Alumni Profile: Scarleth Lopez
Scarleth Lopez was a participant on Stephen F. Austin State University’s first ever Pay It Forward Tour. Originally from Dayton, Texas, Scarleth is studying psychology at SFA in Nacogdoches, Texas. Scarleth and 34 other students traveled from Nacogdoches to Atlanta, Georgia as part of SFA’s Alternative Spring Break program. As a new participant, we asked Scarleth to share her experience as a participant of SFA’s flagship PIF Tour.

Mary Taylor has a long history with STLF. As a student, she went on tours, was on bus core, and was involved with leadership camps. Now, she works at the University of Michigan as a Success Coach and is part of STLF's Alumni Committee.
This Year, We Build
STLF does not run any programs in September, but this is one of our busiest seasons. Our network truly comes alive this time of year. Students, leaders, teachers, and supporters are shrugging off the heat and slowness of August and thinking about what’s possible this year.

I continue to be humbled by the opportunity to serve an organization like STLF. As an STLF alum that has seen firsthand the organization’s impact on people and communities, I feel it is our duty to help STLF continue to be world changing organization it has been while encouraging the organization and team to continue to think bigger and lead bravely.
