Support Tour Alum in Relief Efforts in Haiti
Minneapolis men's group collecting basic medical supplies for Haiti relief efforts.
Author: Drew Pederson, STLF Alum
I am part men's group out of Minneapolis, MN. One of the members of my group is good friends with Jake Lenhart and his family, who are missionaries to the people of Haiti preparing to go there full time in the summer. After the events of this past week, Jake has expressed the need for basic medical supplies. My men's group and I are collecting basic medical supplies that are going to be delivered to CSI Ministries in, Muncie, Indiana. Upon reaching Muncie, CSI has arranged for the supplies to be put on an US Army freight plane and they will then be flown into Haiti.
Our men's group is taking the responsibility and expense of getting all of the supplies, they will be turned over to CSI Ministries who will carry them on. At first we were told to collect aspirin, while we still need all of that we can get it would also help to have, children's aspirin, Neosporin, rubbing alcohol, and an assortment of bandages. We hope to collect them by Friday the 22nd, and deliver them either that weekend or the following Monday based on CSI's schedule.
If you would help out by donating medical supplies, please mail them to me at:
